Harriet Heuer Miller, Esq, has more than 25 years of Trial and Administrative Hearing experience. She concentrates in Employment and Labor Disputes having litigated numerous Discrimination, Disability, Wrongful Discharge, Wage & Hour, Overtime, Racial and Sexual Harassment, Retaliation, Whistleblower, Hostile Environment, Employee Benefits, Family Leave, Breach of Contract, (express and implied), WARN and Social Security Disability claims. - Jury trial in the U.S. District Court representing a job applicant who claimed that UPS violated state and federal discrimination laws when it refused to hire him because he wore a beard as part of his religious practices -- my client won the case.
- Jury trial in Superior Court, Hudson County, representing a secretary who was sexually harassed and then unlawfully terminated for complaining about the harassment -- my client won the case.
- Jury trial in Superior Court, Essex County, representing a bank teller who claimed that the Dollar Saving Bank violated the whistleblower laws when it discharged her for complaining to authorities about her pay -- my client won the case.
- Jury trial in Superior Court, Hudson County, representing a Superintendent alleging that College Towers Apartments' pay practices violated Wage and Hour laws -- my client won the case.
